Before I saw the bold one, I was watching his fuzzy brother.
This cub didn’t charge forward. He stood upright, catching my scent from the wind—curious, yes, but cautious. A rare moment of instinct in motion, passed down from his mother like a whispered warning.
Fuzzy Bear was my distraction. While I focused on this quiet sentinel, the other cub closed the distance. The wild doesn’t wait for your attention—it divides it.
This image is a tribute to inherited wisdom. To the pause before the pulse. To the way nature teaches without words. Where Curious Lil Bear is the thrill of proximity, Fuzzy Bear is the lesson I almost missed.
Together, they remind us: the wild is always watching, always teaching—and never predictable.
